The AD-10 is based on the 4-Max model, but it is smaller and lighter. Even so, the AD-10 is a full-fledged knife without compromise. Its 101 mm long tanto blade is extremely resistant to bending. The hollow-ground blade is made from S35VN steel. This exceptional American steel is not only very rigid and durable, but it can also achieve excellent sharpness, and the edge retains it for a long time. This very fine-grained powder steel with a uniform microstructure offers highly stable properties. It remains durable even with a very fine edge bevel, is reliable, and highly corrosion-resistant. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM process (particle metallurgy) guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpenability, and strength compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Despite its lower chromium content, this steel delivers very good corrosion resistance. The knife handle is made of G-10. The handle is dominated by a massive pocket clip. The Tri-Ad Lock™ prevents the knife from closing accidentally or unintentionally, even after natural wear over time.
