The AD-15 may be the most comfortable, user-friendly tactical piece we have ever created! Based on Andrew Demko’s patented original design, it offers ambidextrous operation and opens and closes with one hand. The drop point spear blade features a false edge to ensure excellent piercing capability and edge control when precise cutting is required. The AD-15’s unique hybrid handle is what sets it apart the most, as it incorporates Andrew’s famous Scorpion Lock. The lower part of the handle features 3D-machined G-10 scales joined to steel liners, while the upper part of the handle, called the “yoke,” is made from 3D-machined 6061 aluminum billet, with an integral back spacer section that covers a strong compression spring. To open the knife, simply push the thumb stud with your thumb and watch the yoke rise until it drops snugly into the deep notch in the blade tang. Held securely by constant spring pressure and reinforced by grip strength, the Scorpion Lock is practically immune to failure!
