The Pendleton Hunter is a medium-sized hunting knife with a plain edge. COLD STEEL manufactures Pendleton Hunters based on the designs of renowned American knifemaker Lloyd Pendleton, who works closely with the company and contributes to the development of production hunting knives. The Drop Point blade is made from Japanese AUS 10A steel. This martensitic stainless steel offers very good strength properties and is primarily used for cutting tools. Compared to AUS 8A, it holds an edge better and is more resistant to abrasion. The steel is then heat treated to achieve the perfect balance between edge retention and easy resharpening. The perfectly shaped handle made of Kraton (Long Kray-Ex™) provides a non-slip surface. It fits excellently in the hand and allows even very fine knife work in wet and muddy conditions. Included is a Secure-Ex sheath to protect both you and the blade.
