The Cold Steel Trail Boss is compact enough to carry all day in your hand or strapped to a backpack, yet durable enough for jobs that would make an axe or tomahawk cry for mercy. Thanks to its European-style head with a 10 cm blade and cutting edge, it takes a big bite with every swing. It also features a very strong and durable straight-grain American Hickory handle. In our extensive field tests in the Australian outback, the Trail Boss was used for chopping kindling, clearing roads and trails, building blinds, and even felling a large tree!
