Detailed product description

Compound Crossbow TENPOINT TURBO II XLT.

The crossbow is a historical weapon originally used mainly in the Middle Ages, whether for hunting or combat. It stood out for its enormous impact and long range. Today, legislation prohibits hunting with this weapon in most European countries. Today, the crossbow serves primarily sporting and recreational purposes. Modern crossbows, with the exception of children's versions with suction-cup darts, still remain weapons and are classified as such under the Firearms and Ammunition Act. Their sale is unrestricted from 18 years of age.

If the owner follows a few basic rules, a crossbow can provide years of outdoor fun:

Treat the crossbow as a weapon – do not leave it cocked, do not aim at people or animals, even as a joke when unloaded, and when shooting make sure no one is moving in the shooting area (running children, dogs, etc.).

A crossbow bolt has a long range, up to 1.5 km when shot into the air. Always shoot in a safe area (backstop, catch net, …) and reserve a sufficiently long, clear, and safe space for shooting.

NEVER dry-fire the crossbow – that is, without a bolt. The missing resistance of the bolt leads to destruction of the string or limbs.

Use bolts of the correct length and weight. Lighter bolts lead to higher wear and may also cause destruction of the crossbow.

Regularly lubricate the crossbow string with string wax to extend its service life.

Use a suitable target for bolts. On impact, the bolt must be slowed down gradually, not all at once, but at the same time it must be completely stopped by the target. Suitable targets, besides commonly sold ones, include straw bales, hardboard tightened in a wooden frame, or a sufficient layer of old cloth stuffed into a jute sack, etc.

The second generation Turbo XLT II crossbow is lighter, narrower, and more accurate. The limb width when cocked is just under 44 cm, draw weight 180 lbs, standard bolt speed 2219/420 grs. 100 m/s. PowerTouch-10™ trigger, double DFI safety against firing (dry-fire prevention and standard automatic safety), Mossy Oak Camo finish. Standard equipment includes a 3x30 ProView scope, HX 4-bolt quiver, 3 bolts with 100 grs. standard points, and the AccuDraw A50 cocking system.
