Extrema Ratio HF2 D Folding Knife
Detailed product description
Extrema Ratio HF2 D Folding Knife.
Extrema Ratio HF2 D Black Folder.
The HF2 D Black is an excellent tool and an extremely effective heavy-duty full-size folder for professional use. A folding knife designed for users seeking the reliability of a fixed blade without giving up compact dimensions.
A durable, versatile folding knife with a blade designed for battlefield use and heavy-duty work. Under standard use, the Liner-Lock mechanism is fully effective in securing the blade. For heavy work, however, the blade must be locked by inserting a steel pin into the hole, turning it into a reliable folder with the parameters of a fixed-blade knife.
Blade - massive, extremely sharp (5.6 mm thick) with a false edge, Drop Point profile and clearly defined belly, providing excellent cutting-edge geometry with low friction. Made from durable, high-cobalt Böhler N690 stainless steel with good edge retention, hardened to 58 HRC and produced by the Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm. The blade has a non-reflective matte MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. The plain edge blade is finished with a flat grind. On the back of the blade, a jimped thumb ramp on the spine allows effective knife control.
Double locking system: a solid Liner-Lock mechanism supported by an additional manual lock, which also serves as protection for the steel pin fixed in the hole when we want to obtain a fixed-blade-style knife. The flipper and blade with shifted center of gravity allow the knife to be opened quickly in two ways.
Sheath - made of waterproof black nylon resistant to wear, allowing the knife to be carried safely in an upright position on a belt or on gear / a vest.
