NIMBUS was commissioned and adopted by the renowned 183rd Nembo Regiment (Airborne) as a reinterpretation of the well-known 39-09 model.
This knife commemorates the Battle of Case Grizzano, which took place on April 19, 1945, between the Nembo paratroopers and the German 1^ Division Fallschirmjäger “Green Devils”, a 12-hour extremely fierce and bloody hand-to-hand clash.
Even though World War II ended a few days later and one third of the paratroopers fell on the battlefield, Nembo won this ferocious battle. NIMBUS is much more than just a model commemorating an event; the knife was technically developed to be truly used for modern combat purposes.
Special attention was paid to technical features such as dimensions and shape.
The tactical blade is lightweight and compact for easy use by an experienced operator.
NIMBUS comes in three versions: Operativo, Ordinanza, and Special Edition.
The Special Edition comes with a wooden handle, satin blade, leather sheath, and special leather case.
