Until the beginning of the 20th century, people commonly carried pocket knives. However, due to uncontrolled "misuse," laws were passed requiring all such knives to have the blade tip cut off to reduce their danger as weapons. Some people then concluded that the greatest effectiveness could be achieved from the sharp edge of the traditionally flat blade shape and began carrying razors instead. The razor was therefore for some time considered a fearsome self-defense weapon. Such "misuse" of the ordinary razor blade inspired our T-RAZOR design.
