A compact version of our multi-purpose TASK knife. In addition to the reduced blade and handle size, the TASK C differs from the full-size TASK by having a plain – partially serrated – edge. The included hard sheath can be carried vertically, horizontally, or at an angle (45°). Available versions: TASK C BLACK, TASK C DESERT WARFARE.
Task C DW, (Compact), a compact backup version of the universal TASK <eng. task>, a legendary cutting tool. In addition to its reduced size, the Task C differs from the large Task by its plain blade. Simple construction - a full tang blade coated in Desert Warfare camouflage - high flat grind - an ideal tool for professionals.
N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V), and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural homogeneity. It features extremely high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. Today, one of the best tool steels in the world. It reaches a hardness of 58 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - robust, thickness 6.3 mm. Slightly curved, Americanized Tanto with a clearly defined blade belly. The blade has a matte non-reflective coating with laser-engraved Desert Warfare camouflage. The Plain edge has a high flat grind that provides excellent geometry, durability, and cutting performance. At the base of the blade there is a single-sided steel guard. For full control over the blade, the spine is equipped with jimping, a long ribbed thumb or index finger rest depending on your preferred grip technique. The ForeFinger Groove, a deep cutout under the index finger, prevents the knife from slipping when things get tough.
Sheath - made of injection-molded nylon in desert color, allowing safe carry and quick access to the knife. Three possible carry angle settings (horizontal, vertical, and diagonal at 45°). The sheath is equipped with a single automatic pressure-activated lock for quick grip and drawing of the knife. The fastening allows quick attachment / removal of the sheath. It fits belts 32-46 mm wide, and after removing the adjustments it can be used with most tactical belts. To prevent the sheath from shifting on the belt, the mount is equipped with two set screws.
