Fixed Blade Knife COLD STEEL NATCHEZ BOWIE 16DN
Detailed product description
Fixed Blade Knife COLD STEEL NATCHEZ BOWIE 16DN.
“Under-The Hill” was the notoriously rowdy waterfront district of Natchez, Mississippi, at the beginning of the nineteenth century. So dubious that it was rarely mentioned in the polite parlors of the antebellum mansions scattered on the other side of town when cotton was king.
Cold Steel’s Natchez Bowie was born “Under-The-Hill,” and its pedigree traces back to those worn taverns and dimly lit streets. A line bred for battle, it is the definitive fighting Bowie. Its long blade is perfectly shaped for power, reach, and leverage, and its substantial weight is flawlessly balanced, giving it unmatched liveliness and speed. Combine all that with its wickedly sharp edge and you have a knife that thrusts like a dagger, cuts like a razor, and chops like a cleaver!
The best in materials and craftsmanship is what makes such performance possible. The blade is made from CPM-3V tool steel. It is expensive and demanding to produce, but the resulting blade is practically indestructible. The handle also plays a major role in its overall performance. It features a double-quillon guard, pommel cap, and pommel made from highly polished 300-series stainless steel, along with a rugged black G10 handle. It readily adapts to a wide variety of grips while also serving as a very formidable impact weapon.
Each Natchez Bowie comes with a Secure-Ex sheath that protects the blade and lets you carry it safely and securely at your side, always ready to defend you and your loved ones.
