SELVANS was developed as a collaboration between Extrema Ratio and chief instructor Daniele Dal Canto of F.I.S.S.S. (Italian Survival Federation). It is a modification of the ONTOS military survival knife, designed to increase its effectiveness as a civilian tool. The longer handle and heavier blade allow for better chopping and cutting.
The enhanced survival kit (must be purchased separately) includes: whistle, pocket chainsaw, water purification tablets, compass, copper wire, flint and striker, LED light, 2.5 m paracord, and sharpener. Available versions: SELVANS DESERT, SELVANS GREEN.
