ERMES is a commemorative knife designed by the Special Operations Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.), part of the Italian Army Aviation.
R.E.O.S. is an operational helicopter unit supporting special forces, composed of specially trained personnel specifically trained and equipped to support military activities in any operational context.
The stylized knife scales represent the wings featured in the regiment’s heraldic emblem.
It is available in two different versions:
"ERMES ORDINANZA" with a satin blade and ABS case
"ERMES OPERATIVO" with a polished blade
The steel used is the reliable Bölher N690Co, heat treated to 58 HRC. For the handle, glass-fiber reinforced polyamide FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) was chosen.
The hybrid sheath made of Kydex and textile features a belt attachment with the MOLLE system.
