This special edition of 250 pieces, created for the brand’s 25th anniversary, preserves the shape of the original knife, but with current materials and finish.
The K1 features a modified spear-point blade whose tip is a combination of a 40° tanto style and a more traditional European style, resulting in a very sharp yet strong hybrid. It also has a sharp false edge, making it very effective for thrusting. It has a high bevel that allows for a very efficient cutting edge.
The blade is recognizable by the hole in it, which makes the knife significantly lighter without compromising its robustness. It is made from Böhler N690, heat treated to 58 HRC to achieve the best combination of edge retention and toughness. It has a satin finish and a flat grind.
The anodized Anticorodal handle has a lighter design compared to its original version—a design that characterizes Extrema Ratio knives—while retaining the domed shape and the K1 side “bump,” allowing an excellent grip in sabre and reverse grip.
The lower part of the handle is curved to create a kind of hook for easy and quick extraction of the knife from the sheath, while the pommel protrudes as a triangular glass breaker that can also serve as a lanyard hole.
The leather sheath is an exact replica of the original and retains its quick and easy draw characteristics. The knife can be carried upright under the arm, horizontally on a belt, or tactically on the leg.
The K1 comes with a polypropylene case, complete leather sheath, and shoulder strap for carrying the knife under the arm.
