Extrema Ratio Misericordia Black Warfare is a limited series of only 500 pieces. It features all the characteristics of the famous Misericordia adopted by the 4th Alpine Paratroopers Regiment, which contributed to its development and testing and selected it for its unique features that make it especially suitable for ambush combat.
The blade is milled from Böhler N690 steel, heat treated to 58 HRC for the best combination of edge retention and toughness. It is 118 mm (4.65”) long and 4 mm (0.16”) thick with a flat grind. The knife weighs only 87 g (3.1 oz). The blade has a spear-point shape with a fuller running its full length, making it even lighter, and a false double edge along 3/4 of its length. Its finish, Black Warfare, features Extrema Ratio’s innovative and original Geotech Camo pattern, laser-engraved on the surface. The handle retains Extrema Ratio’s typical ergonomic profile and is made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon to provide maximum toughness in all conditions, even under the hardest use.
The characteristic ring on the pommel helps the soldier achieve a better grip for a safer and more effective draw, exponentially increasing the combat effectiveness of the Misericordia. The Kydex sheath can be attached to a belt clip, ULTICLIP and malice clip, as well as to MOLLE webbing using paracord. An optional highly durable nylon sheath is also available, with two adjustable loops for attachment to MOLLE webbing.
Misericordia Black Warfare comes in a polypropylene waterproof case resistant to weather, dust, and impacts, with IP67 certification and a pressure valve. It also includes the Kydex sheath, double ulticlip, dual sharpener (ceramic and synthetic diamond), and a metal plate with the progressive number within the limited series.
