BF2 R CD Black is a versatile, lightweight 140 g folding knife that is easy to carry, sharing the common features of the Extrema Ratio Basic Folder line. It is equipped with a blade extension / lever for rapid blade deployment via the High Speed Razor Opening System. An excellent tool and also an extremely effective full-size knife for professional use in the military and police.
Blade - extremely sharp with a Drop Point profile, 3 mm thick, with a clearly defined blade belly. Made from Böhler N690 stainless steel with good edge retention and durability, hardened to 58 HRC and produced by the Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm. Coated with a matte, non-reflective, scratch-resistant MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING finish. Plain edge blade derived from a flat grind, providing strength, excellent cutting edge geometry, and extreme cutting performance. Double blade locking system: a solid Liner-Lock blade locking mechanism combined with an additional manual safety lock.
