The patented XR lock with patented SOG Assisted Technology (AT) provides fast one-handed opening and solid lockup when open. Reliable and powerful, capable of withstanding 1500 pounds of force, the AT-XR lock delivers maximum built-in blade security when open and ensures it opens only when intended.

SAFETY 2.0

SOG worked with users to develop ambidextrous safety that is as easy as it is fast. It is designed to be intuitive and to use natural hand movements, which means you don’t have to break your grip to operate it. Once opened, it locks into place like a thumb stop. Everything a safety should be.

Our story begins in Vietnam, where members of a highly classified U.S. special operations unit—known as MACV-SOG—carried a unique covert knife into the jungle on secret missions.
