Our story begins in Vietnam, where members of a highly classified U.S. special operations unit – known as MACV-SOG – carried a unique covert knife into the jungle on secret missions. A few years later, in 1986, that knife inspired a young designer named Spencer Frazer to found SOG Specialty Knives. PURPOSEFUL DESIGN

Every element of the Trident AT was developed for extreme or emergency situations—including rapid blade deployment, a line cutter, and a glass breaker—all seamlessly integrated with a highly grippy texture and durable handle.

The patented XR lock with patented SOG Assisted Technology (AT) provides fast one-handed opening and secure lock-up once open.
