★★★★★ 4,8 147 reviews Heureka verified
Kershaw founder Pete Kershaw knew how important guaranteed quality was. In late 1974, he decided to establish his own knife company in a cement plant in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In Japan, Kai CEO Koji Endo believed Kershaw had even greater growth potential. In 1996, Endo invested in an American manufacturing facility at Kai USA's Wilsonville base. He believed this would help Kershaw reach its full potential. Soon, Kai USA hired a new production team for the job.

Detailed product description

KERSHAW ESTEEM Folding Knife

In the Esteem, tradition meets modern design. This non-locking slipjoint knife features a double detent system: two steel detent balls, one on each side of the blade. They keep the blade securely closed for carry. Then, for controlled opening and closing, the Esteem also has a half-open position. The elegant handle is made from a combination of G10 and steel. Fine details, including a bronze PVD coating on the hardware, elevate the Esteem even further. All of this creates a slipjoint that users will appreciate for a lifetime.
