The Thistle offers an extra-wide blade and an ergonomic handle curved to fit the contours of your hand perfectly, along with our push-button lock.

The Thistle’s large blade with a dropped tip provides excellent slicing capability and handles a wide range of cutting tasks, making it perfect for work or everyday carry. The quality stainless steel blade offers good edge retention and strength. The purposefully roughened stonewashed finish helps hide scratches.

The curved handle provides leverage while cutting and also offers an extremely comfortable grip. To further enhance grip, the Thistle handle is embossed with Kershaw’s exclusive K-Texture™. K-Texture provides additional traction for reliable cutting in a variety of environmental conditions.

On the side of the handle is the Thistle’s lock-release button. This makes it easier than ever to release the secured liner lock and close the knife. Just press the button. The liner lock releases and the user can fold the blade while keeping fingers out of the path of the closing blade.

The Thistle is a manual-opening knife and can be opened using the convenient thumb stud. For comfortable pocket carry, the Thistle also features a reversible (left/right) pocket clip.

Features

Manual - No mechanical assistance, such as SpeedSafe, is used to open the folding knife. It opens the classic, old-school way.

Liner Lock - Locks the blade open during use; one side of the steel “liner,” the steel plate to which the handle scales are attached, moves into position behind the blade to securely lock it open.

Push-Button Lock - Found on a Kershaw folding saw, it locks the blade open during use and then releases with the press of a button for storage.

Reversible - Pre-drilled holes in the handle allow the user to change the tip position or the side on which the knife is carried.
