As a dedicated fan of Filipino martial arts, it made perfect sense for Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design to create a karambit knife for Böker Plus. These curved, sickle-like knives originate from Southeast Asia and were primarily used for harvesting rice. In this version, the more tactical Böker Plus HEL Karambit is presented in a highly modern design.
The satin-finished Hawkbill blade made from 154CM cuts through cardboard and rope with ease, while the blue-grey G10 handle and sturdy liner lock provide the necessary operational safety. Low weight and high efficiency form the backbone of this pocket knife, named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the silky-smooth flipper opening, this pocket knife offers a removable thumb stud on the back of the blade, which also serves as a wave opener. The angular design elements typical of Alessandra De Santis can be found in the striking G10 ring at the end of the handle. The knife can be carried flexibly thanks to the reversible wire clip (tip-up). Supplied with a high-quality nylon sheath.
