Majestic in appearance, awe-inspiring and legendary – the scorpion has fascinated people for thousands of years and played an integral role in the history of many cultures. All the more reason to bring that fascination to a knife. For this extraordinary project, knife designer Fernando Santos of Santos Knives was brought on board, and together with Böker he developed the Magnum Alacrán (Spanish for scorpion). The knifemaker from Mexico sets one standard above all: maximum efficiency. A characteristic that perfectly suits the scorpion and is impressively implemented in this tactical dagger. Its feared venomous sting takes the form of a toxic 440B blade, sharpened on both sides and finished with an elegant satin surface. Built in a full tang construction, the knife also features jimping near the tip and contoured aluminum handle scales that allow an uncompromising grip, just as the scorpion’s massive pincers would. The shape and color skillfully reflect the exoskeleton of the animal it is named after, while the glass breaker at the end of the handle expands its field of use. Supplied with a high-quality Kydex sheath and belt adapter.
