The Beetle-S is a Maxace EDC folding knife with a Drop-Point blade made from premium M390 steel. Titanium handle with bone overlays. This model can rightfully be called a gentleman’s knife. Thanks to its classic, restrained lines, this handsome piece looks equally at home with a formal suit or ripped jeans. With a blade length of 83 mm and a blade stock thickness of 1.8 mm, the knife is capable of making an almost surgical cut. Equipped with a lanyard hole and a slipjoint mechanism. No clip.

The blade is made from M390 steel. This is a premium powder martensitic steel with a high chromium and vanadium content. It is produced by the world-renowned Austrian company Bohler - Uddeholm AG. This steel is recognized as one of the best in the world for its wear resistance, high corrosion resistance, excellent strength, and toughness. It is currently a very popular material and is successfully used in the production of premium production knives as well as custom and maker models. Blades made from this steel are hardened to 58-62 HRC. It has excellent edge retention. However, it should be noted that the downside of this property is that sharpening is not particularly easy.
