Microtech Socom Bravo 261-9CFTI Folding Knife
Detailed product description
Microtech Socom Bravo 261-9CFTI Folding Knife.
The Microtech Socom Bravo Titanium Carbon folding knife is a gem among folding knives in every respect. The premium blade material (M390) is the key to outstanding cutting performance. Praising this 3rd-generation powder metallurgy steel is like carrying coals to Newcastle, as it is currently No. 1 among blade materials. Hand in hand with the material goes the blade shape (a newly conceived drop point) with a pronounced fuller (“blood groove”). The stone wash blade is fitted with dual thumb studs, but the knife is intended for right-handed users. The sharpening of the bevel and tip is done by hand and fully meets both cutting and piercing requirements. The blade rides on ceramic bearings and a beryllium bronze bushing, showing no visible play even after rough use. The handle combines structural design (a 3D machined titanium piece, complemented by carbon fiber scales for a better grip feel), practicality (jimping on the spine for easier and more secure control during push cuts, a hole for paracord attachment), ergonomics (a comfortable grip despite the edges and a guide groove for the opening thumb), and strength (protection of the titanium lock spring against blade overtravel). All of these attributes place this folding knife at the very top of contemporary knife making.
