The UTX-70 (15% smaller than the UTX-85) is a dual-action mini out-the-front automatic knife from Microtech and one of the most carry-friendly options for everyday use. Its compact size is ideal for a watch pocket or even keychain carry. This version features red contoured handles and a plain satin-finished CTS-204P double-edge blade.

Blade: The double-edge blade features a bright machine satin finish and two razor-sharp plain edges. The dagger-style blade is made from high-performance American CTS-204P stainless steel. The blade measuring under 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) uses a dual-action deployment and retraction mechanism. Simply slide the thumb switch on the side of the handle upward to deploy and downward to retract. The internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed positions to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P offers some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P performs similarly to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.

Handle: Smooth, Red anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has improved rounded edges creating not only a comfortable feel in-hand but a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. As the UTX-70 is much smaller and thinner they have left off the jimping for a cleaner look. This is a gentleman's OTF automatic. The contoured handle design is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and blasted pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.
