X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - a high-carbon, molybdenum martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. It is used in the production of knives, high-quality cookware, and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a relatively high hardness (for stainless steels) of 57–58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with 15.0% chromium, 0.80% molybdenum, and 0.20% vanadium.
