The IBEX-8.OL is a handmade, compact knife from the Spanish Muela workshop. The goal was to create an agile yet reliable low-weight knife for any outdoor use. Versatile, perfectly balanced, and built with a full tang design and a blade made of X50CrMoV15 steel, it delivers impressive cutting performance. Designed for bushcraft, survival, and hunting enthusiasts.

X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - a molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with high resistance to corrosion and wear. It is used in the manufacture of knives, premium cutlery, and surgical instruments. It features a relatively high hardness for stainless steel at 56-58 HRC. The steel’s chemical composition is enriched with 15.0% chromium, 0.80% molybdenum, and 0.20% vanadium.

Blade - Drop Point type, 3.6 mm thick, with good mechanical properties and long-lasting sharpness. The plain edge blade (Plain type) is made with a hollow grind. Satin finish (semi-matte), which reduces glare. The jimped, profiled Finger Choil between the handle and the edge makes the knife easier to control.

Sheath - hand-stitched from quality brown cowhide leather with the manufacturer’s logo embossed on it. The edges of the sheath are stitched with decorative thread. Prym snap fastening. Belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
