They produce their knives in small batches so they can take the time to individually hand-fit and finish each knife to a level rarely seen in factory knives. Their production knife models offer the best design, function, and value of any knives on the market today. Their custom automatic knives are unique works of art. Each limited-edition custom knife showcases a legacy of quality. No matter which of their knives you choose, we are confident you will be very pleased with your purchase.
Pro-Tech Knives is proud to be the first choice of law enforcement and military professionals worldwide. Pro-Tech knives are built to perform and built to last. This is the first knife collaboration between Pro-Tech Knives and tactical knife icon Ernest Emerson, the Pro-Tech/Emerson CQC7 AUTO. Ernest Emerson has been making knives since 1979 and has earned a reputation for producing some of the most sought-after tactical knife designs on the planet. The CQC7 is perhaps the most famous of his designs, and the Pro-Tech coil-spring version is built to the exacting standards for which Emerson is known. Mr. Emerson was personally involved in every detail of this collaboration knife, resulting in a knife that will truly delight Emerson fans and loyal Pro-Tech customers alike.
The action is super strong yet smooth. It has a nice snap when the blade deploys. The Emerson/Pro-Tech CQC7 was first seen outside the shop at the PKA (Professional Knife Maker's Association) show in Denver, Colorado, where it won the award for Best Collaboration. This version is a custom CQC7A model created for the Texas BLADE Show 2024 in Fort Worth and features a 3.25" CPM-20CV stonewashed spear point blade with two-tone gold/blue "jigged" textured titanium handles and a mother-of-pearl button.
