This makes it easy to crimp blasting caps and demolition cord with less hand pressure. Another unique SOG feature is the placement of the crimping device within the handle... not in the plier jaws, as with all other designs. This helps minimize incidental damage to the crimper and allows the operator to fully use the uninterrupted plier surface. In addition, there is no weakening of the pliers, which often causes broken plier tips. The crimper produces non-fray crimps with high tensile strength that meet government fuse specifications. A hard wire cutter is also included. All GSA approved.
