WingManEDC John Barker Ferus Blue Titanium Folding Knife
Detailed product description
WingManEDC John Barker Ferus Blue Titanium Folding Knife
John Barker is known for his stylish tanto blades and incredible opening action. Many of his customs use the innovative Kickstop flipper mechanism by his close friend Lee Williams, and this Ferus model is no different. Kickstop works like a blade launcher because the flipper tab is not attached to the blade itself, but to the frame, similar to the GTC SLT. This not only creates the impressive action you expect from Barker, Williams, and WingMan, but also enables the aesthetic you see here. Normally, you would have a flipper tab protruding beyond the frame and acting as a finger guard, but that is not the case with the Ferus. It has a very streamlined look and feel, making it an outstanding EDC piece.
The Ferus may be WingManEDC's most ambitious folding knife yet. It features an integral titanium frame with 3D-machined titanium inlays on each side. The inside of the integral stonewashed frame is heavily skeletonized to reduce the precious weight of this utilitarian design. It feels extremely solid in hand, which almost clashes with its remarkably lightweight nature, but it simply works. The Ferus gives you excellent confidence during hard use, catches the eye, and entertains even the most fidgety among us. It is an incredible design from John Barker and WingManEDC, and we are excited to bring it to you.
