The finely tuned chemistry of this American particle metallurgy steel promotes the formation of niobium carbides together with vanadium and chromium carbides, increasing its toughness without sacrificing wear resistance. The full-flat-ground blade of this knife makes full use of these properties and is available in a choice of PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge formats. The satin-finished blade is housed in a handle with bright blue fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales, non-slip bi-directional texturing, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a sturdy Liner Lock mechanism, and a versatile four-position pocket clip that supports left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
