Spyderco Manix 2 C101GPS2 Folding Knife
Detailed product description
Spyderco Manix 2 C101GPS2 Folding Knife
The recipe for a successful folding knife: start with a solid lock. Add a blade made from exotic high-carbon steel. Make it in Golden, Colorado using precise tolerances, then add a healthy dose of American innovation. These ingredients make up the Manix 2, a blend of distinct features that, when combined, create one of Spyderco’s strongest knives to date. Patented by Spyderco, the Manix 2 features the Ball Bearing Lock. It is a hardened free-floating ball bearing contained in a custom high-tech polymer cage. The round ball bearing allows the lock to self-adjust over a large surface area, locking smoothly and consistently with solid confidence. The strength of the Ball Bearing Lock evolves over time and stands up to hard work while providing a secure, versatile, and comfortable grip. Ergonomics are unmatched in this design. The blade is S30V and full-flat ground, with aggressive thumb jimping above the 14 mm round Spyderco hole. And the jimping does not stop there. With full steel liners, the scales feature grooves that extend beyond the G-10 handle scales and add textured areas around the handle’s perimeter. This one will not slip out of your hand and works well even with gloves! The liners serve a dual purpose by giving the handle rigid yet lightweight strength. The three-screw clip can be carried left/right and is positioned for comfort and deep-pocket carry. The knife also has a large lanyard hole to accommodate various types of cords or straps.
