Originally developed specifically for the British knife market, the UK Penknife was the original SLIPIT – a type of folding knife that combines the trademark Round Hole for one-handed opening, a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for convenient carry, and a notched-joint non-locking slipjoint mechanism. These features allow it to offer the same easy carry and one-handed opening as CLIPIT knives, but in a legally permitted non-locking format in many jurisdictions. CPM S110V is an extremely advanced stainless steel with an ultra-high carbon content, enriched with vanadium, niobium, molybdenum, and cobalt. Produced using Crucible particle metallurgy to ensure alloy consistency, it offers exceptional wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and edge retention compared to other commercially available steels.
