Urban Lightweight, the perfect companion, is the latest evolution of the original Urban. As a member of the SLIPIT family, it offers the benefits of clip carry and one-handed opening, but with a socially friendly non-locking mechanism. Its leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground from N690CO stainless steel for outstanding edge geometry and features an index-finger choil that helps prevent accidental closure during use. True to its name, the Urban Lightweight has a textured fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle that keeps it feather-light while still providing a full and secure grip. Completing the package is a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers convenient carry on either side of the body. The knife does not lock due to legal concerns, but it still has a strong half-stop mechanism for safe blade closure.
