Folding Knife GIANTMOUSE ACE GRAND - GREEN CANVAS MICARTA

ACE Grand is our EDC-friendly version of the popular GM5.

With the GM5, we set out to create what we considered our “magnum opus” – GiantMouse’s best folder to date. Great design with an even cooler look and finish. The GM5 was the kind of folder that, in our opinion, checked all the boxes;

While the ACE Grand still checks every box on the list, we changed a few things. We chose nice American Canvas Micarta for the rounded scales and went with nested liners and a strong liner lock.

We kept the large solid backspacer (titanium) for strength, but added a nice deep-carry wire pocket clip for comfortable carry.

The Elmax steel blade was designed to be perfect for all-around use, and we kept it exactly as it was on the GM5. The high Sabre Flat Grind makes it a strong yet highly efficient slicer, and the pronounced swedge provides a fine point for penetration without sacrificing tip strength.

The Grand was named after one of our favorite hotels on our annual show tour. The Grand Hotel Nuremberg is an old hotel with a long history and a GREAT bar! When the GiantMouse team is in Nuremberg every March for the IWA Outdoor Classics show, most evenings either start or end (sometimes both) at the Atelier Bar in the Grand Hotel.
