The ACE Grand is an EDC-friendly version of the popular GM5.

While the ACE Grand still checks every box on the list, GiantMouse changed a few things. They chose beautiful American-made Canvas Micarta for the contoured scales and went with nested liners and a strong liner lock.

GiantMouse kept the large solid backspacer (titanium) for strength, but added a nice deep-carry wire pocket clip for pleasant, comfortable carry.

The Elmax steel blade was designed to be perfect for all-purpose use, and they kept it exactly as on the GM5. The high saber flat grind makes it a strong yet very efficient slicer, and the pronounced swedge provides a fine point for penetration without sacrificing tip strength.

Name

The Grand was named after one of Jens and Jesper’s favorite hotels on their annual show tour. The Grand Hotel Nuremberg is an old hotel with a long history and a GREAT bar! When the GiantMouse team is in Nuremberg each March for the IWA Outdoor Classics show, most evenings either begin or end (sometimes both) at the Atelier Bar in the Grand Hotel.
