We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again... At GiantMouse, we do things a little differently. That’s why we designed a modern fixed blade knife inspired by the old-school Khanjali.
Yes, we know it looks “different.” But in our book, that’s only a good thing, because it’s a design that simply works well and feels great in hand. To maximize the “tool” potential of the GMF3, we used a straight-spine blade with a full flat grind and jimping in just the right place, allowing maximum pressure on the spine of the blade while cutting. Because we wanted the GMF3 to be a versatile utility knife for both indoor and outdoor use, we chose canvas Micarta for the scales, ensuring a secure grip even in wet conditions. And for those who want to go au naturel, the scales can be easily removed, giving you a fantastic skeletonized knife. The sheath for the GMF3 is, of course, a leather belt sheath handmade in Italy, and it works equally well with or without the scales mounted on the knife.
